Founded in Pune by engineers who grew up watching farmers struggle, Mrunal Agro exists to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and everyday agriculture.

Our Mission

Making smart farming accessible to every Indian farmer

We saw hardworking farmers losing crops to unpredictable weather, paying huge water bills, and being unable to afford the technology that corporate farms use. We decided to change that.

Our platform gives small and medium Indian farms the same IoT, AI, and automation capabilities that large agri-businesses use — completely free, with local language support and hands-on training at your farm.

Our Journey

From idea to 500+ farms

2022

The Idea

After seeing a farmer friend lose an entire tomato crop to disease that could have been caught early, we decided to build an AI-powered detection tool.

2023

First Prototype

Launched IoT sensors and a basic mobile dashboard on 5 pilot farms in Pune district. Proved 40% water saving in 3 months.

2024

AI + ERP Launch

Released the AI disease detection module with 38 crop classes and the free Farm ERP. Reached 100+ farms across Maharashtra.

2025

Polyhouse Division

Launched full polyhouse automation packages. Partnered with Sahyadri Farms and expanded to 500+ farms in 12 districts.

2026

Scaling Up

Expanding to Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Launching Kannada and Telugu language support and integrating with government farm schemes.
